SA Rannarahva Muuseum / Naissaar Visitor Centre
1. General Provisions
1.1. These Terms of Use (hereinafter the Terms) govern the legal relationship between SA Rannarahva Muuseum (registry code 90009565, hereinafter the Service Provider) and the person using the services (hereinafter the Client).
1.2. The Terms apply to all services provided by the Service Provider, including accommodation, events, excursions, tickets, booking of venues and services, and other services of the Naissaar Visitor Centre, unless specified otherwise for a particular service.
1.3. By using the services, the Client confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms.
1.4. Matters not regulated in the Terms shall be governed by the legislation in force in the Republic of Estonia.
2. Services and Booking
2.1. Services can be booked via the Service Provider’s website, email, or other channels offered by the Service Provider.
2.2. The Service Provider has the right to refuse to accept or confirm a booking if the submitted information is incomplete or misleading.
2.3. A booking is considered confirmed once the Client has received confirmation from the Service Provider and has paid the required fees.
3. Prices and Payment Terms
3.1. All prices are in euros and include VAT applicable in the Republic of Estonia unless stated otherwise.
3.2. The Service Provider has the right to require a prepayment of up to 100% of the service cost.
3.3. Data necessary for processing payments will be transmitted to an authorized payment service provider.
3.4. Services may be purchased by legally competent persons aged at least 18. The person who pays for an order made by a minor assumes responsibility for the order.
4. Booking Cancellation, Modification, and Refunds
4.1. Cancellation and refunds. A booking may be cancelled up to 60 days before the arrival date by sending a notice to the Visitor Centre’s email address: info@naissaarekeskus.ee. In such case, the Visitor Centre will refund the prepaid amount, minus transaction fees, within 7 days from receipt of the cancellation notice to the bank account provided by the Client.
If the booking is cancelled 30 days before the arrival date, 50% of the prepayment will be refunded, minus transaction fees. In case of shorter notice, the prepayment will not be refunded.
If the booking is cancelled 14 days before the arrival date, it is possible to postpone the booking for up to six months subject to availability; the prepayment will not be refunded.
4.2. Booking modification and refunds. To modify a booking, a notice must be sent to the Visitor Centre’s email address: info@külastuskeskus.ee. A booking may be modified within six months from the booking date. Later modifications are invalid and the prepayment will not be refunded.
When modifying a booking, please note that both the accommodation price and availability may have changed. Booking modifications are free of charge up to 60 days before the arrival date.
5. Cancellation of Service by the Service Provider
5.1. The Service Provider has the right to cancel a service due to force majeure (including weather conditions, transport disruptions, natural conditions, or island logistics).
5.2. In the event of service cancellation, the Client will be refunded the amount paid or offered the opportunity to use the service at another time.
6. Arrival, Stay, and Rules
6.1. The Client must comply with the internal rules and safety regulations in force on the Service Provider’s premises.
6.2. The Service Provider has the right to terminate the provision of services to a Client who repeatedly violates the rules, disturbs other visitors, or endangers safety.
6.3. The Service Provider is not liable for the loss or damage of the Client’s personal belongings, except where the damage is caused by the Service Provider’s gross negligence.
7. Liability and Damages
7.1. The Client is liable for any damage caused to the Service Provider or third parties.
7.2. Damaged or destroyed inventory must be compensated according to its value.
7.3. The Service Provider’s liability is limited to direct material damage and does not include loss of profit.
8. Photos and Videos
8.1. During public events and activities, the Service Provider may take photos and videos for documentation and promotional purposes.
8.2. Clients have the right to request the removal of their image by contacting the Service Provider.
9. Processing of Personal Data
9.1. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Service Provider’s Privacy Policy, available on the website.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1. Disputes arising from the Terms shall first be resolved through negotiations between the parties.
10.2. If no agreement is reached, the Client has the right to contact the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority, the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate, or a court in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
11. Amendments to the Terms
11.1. The Service Provider has the right to amend the Terms unilaterally
11.2. The valid Terms are always available on the Service Provider’s website.
